Have you ever heard ABBA songs in unexpected places? I recently had two surprise encounters with ABBA music while on holiday in America.
1. while walking through the Star Arcade (shops and eateries) at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’ was playing on the background music system. Perhaps not so surprising as Mamma Mia! is playing at one of the MGM Grand’s sister hotels in Las Vegas.
2. while standing in front of the Virgin Megastore at Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World, Florida, and while I was talking to my dear friend and fellow ABBA fan Merrick on the phone, ‘Mamma Mia’ came blaring out of the store. Several more ABBA songs from what I figured was disc one of The Definitive Collection played throughout the store over the next half hour.

I was in home of one of the my members of staff delivering service, Suddenly I listen Super Trouper! The person who was hearing said: “I do not know who sings, but I like!”
PS: I live in a interior city of Brazil, ABBA is not so famous like in Europe. And this house stayed in a poor part of the city..

While grocery shopping in a small town in rural Pennsyvania I heard “Lay All Your Love On Me” on the music system.
